Diwali is known as the festival of lights.

Diwali is one of India's most famous and largest festivals. It is a celebration of King Rama who returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile. Hindus light candles and decorate their homes with Rangoli.

To the Hindus religious rites were performed on this occasion. Young and old alike worship the goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. Hindus share sweets and gifts with friends and neighbors. In India a public holiday is celebrated and people enjoy the festival with great enthusiasm. It is one of the most popular and fun Hindu festivals.

  Java batik technique  Java batik technique is an another way of batik. It's a very colourful one of batik Industry. There are some main ingredients to create a java batik dress. First,you have to have some dyes. Mainly we use a dye "procion dye"  for java. At next batik artists mix that dye with same chemicals called sodium silicate, soda ash and salt. The dye mixture is painted on the fabric according to the desired pattern with the help of a brush. After painting the design the keep it to dry in the sun for about two days. After that finally they outline all the design and boil it  with boiling water to finish the fabric.
