My mother



The most loved one of my life is my mother. She is Wasana Dilani Weerakoon and now she's 53 years of age. She is working in Sri Lanka Telecom Plc as a senior assistant manager and she always focus on her duties well. My mother is a very responsible wife and a good hearted one. She always wants to be the best mother to me and my sisters. She has made a lot of sacrifices for us and will continue to do so. My mother is a perfect woman with many good qualities. She is a loving mother with patience, kindness, love, and a full heart. Not only for people but her heart melts for all kind of animals.  I love her with all my heart.

Java batik technique

  Java batik technique  Java batik technique is an another way of batik. It's a very colourful one of batik Industry. There are some main ingredients to create a java batik dress. First,you have to have some dyes. Mainly we use a dye "procion dye"  for java. At next batik artists mix that dye with same chemicals called sodium silicate, soda ash and salt. The dye mixture is painted on the fabric according to the desired pattern with the help of a brush. After painting the design the keep it to dry in the sun for about two days. After that finally they outline all the design and boil it  with boiling water to finish the fabric.
